MASTER COLOR & LIGHT

In this 3-day workshop, students will learn how different objects, people and environments catch light, how their hue, value and tones are effected by various light sources. Students will undergo multiple assignments including lighting and color studies in class as well as in the form of take home assignments.

Location: WECO - Kuwait City, M Square Complex, behind Assima Mall, floor 4.

 

Dates & Time:

Day I: Sunday 2nd of July, 2023 - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM 

Day II: Tuesday 4th July, 2023 - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM 

Day III: Tuesday 11th July, 2023 - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

 

Fees: 60 KWD

For Digital Artists:

Please bring the tablet or device or your choice in the session.

For Traditional Artists:

Please bring a drawing pad of your choice (bring appropriate paper for the tools of your choice) and choose from the following: Pencils, charcoal, polychromos colored pencils, pastels, gouache or watercolors.

About the Instructor

Reem Alshatti, also known online as Ryma Starryylight, is a Freelance Artist & Illustrator with a passion for visual storytelling.

Ryma is known for her dreamlike style in illustration which many had described as a lo-fi aesthetic.  Her style had granted her collaborations with lo-fi music publishers like the Paris-based channel Lo-fi Girl and US-based Deadpixel Lo-fi among others.
